Walking with the Sage from Galilee
Israel Trip

March 6-17, 2024

Join me for the adventure of a lifetime!

From the Sea of Galilee to the Judean

Wilderness, read the stories of the Bible in their original context.

Visit where the tribe of Dan (Joshua 9) once lived and the caves of En Gedi where, future king, David hid from Saul (1 Samuel 24). Consider Jesus' message in the cities where his ministry took place, like Capernaum, Chorazin and Bethsaida. See an authentic first century boat as you prepare for a boat ride on the sea of Galilee (Luke 8:22-25). Read the Beatitudes and open the Sermon of the Mount (Matthew 5-7) near where Jesus taught them.

Walk the Via Dolorosa ("Way of Suffering") and get a deeper understanding of the events that took place during Jesus' last week in Jerusalem — the very events that lead to Jesus' crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection (Matthew 26:30–27:66, Mark 14:26–15:47, Luke 22:39–23:5).

For this journey, Dr. Jeff García, Associate Professor of New Testament at Alliance University and a New York City native, will be your instructor (see below). Dr. García is a specialist in the world of the New Testament. He has lead groups to Israel for more than a decade and will connect the land of Israel — via history, geography, archaeology and culture—with the Bible.

Find a deeper relationship with God by searching the Holy Land.
